Intake checklist

What to send with your project.

Complete inputs are what make a fast turnaround possible. Upload PDF, DWG or ZIP files; a single combined PDF plan set is ideal.

Prepare your intake in five steps

  1. 1.Identify the application and requested scope

Collect the project address, reviewing agency, recorded permit-application date if known, building type, conditioned/scoped area and dwelling count. State whether this is new work, an alteration or a correction.

  2. 2.Select the controlling drawings

Assemble legible PDF plans with consistent revision dates: floor plans, elevations, sections and relevant systems sheets. Include DWG or ZIP support where useful; identify retained versus proposed work.

  3. 3.Gather schedules and supported inputs

Provide window U-factor/SHGC, assembly and insulation information, HVAC and water-heating schedules, and any PV/storage assumptions. Label unknowns rather than inventing performance values.

  4. 4.Explain changes and unresolved questions

For revisions, include the reviewed report, complete correction letter and marked changes. Nominate a project contact and list selections or classification questions that still need resolution.

  5. 5.Request a scoped quote and upload plans

Review pricing and exclusions, then use Get a Quote. Sign in to upload plans privately. Submission is not payment, production acceptance or permit approval; complete inputs must be confirmed before rush production starts.
